Music certainly has the power to transport us to another time and place. Allante loves to harness that power with a broad audience of fellow music lovers, and passionate musicians alike.
Allante was raised by his mother, and grew up with a passion for music of all kinds. Growing up without a dad was tough for Allante and his brother, because they always felt as if something was missing. Allante used music as a way to deal with his pain; whenever he was upset he would sing to himself, which really helped him.
As Allante entered high school, he realized he had a gift—everyone couldn’t rhyme and put plays on words like he could. He grew up as an unpopular kid, and nobody believed in him. He knew he had the message and skills to move forward, which made him work harder everyday. Allante has not finished growing, but is confident that all his hard work will show in time.
From a young age, Allante found great joy and satisfaction as he involved himself in the creative music process. With the help and support of his fans, Allante may soon be able to break himself into the music industry.

1. Has being from Detroit, Michigan influenced your music?
"Honestly, my influence in my music came from my idols in rap, such as Drake, G-Eazy, Vic Mensa, and Lil Wayne. Yes, I admired the rap scene that surrounds Detroit but their sound was not me. My sound is "different" from your average "Detroit rapper."
2. When did you start rapping?
"I started rapping in my sophomore year of high school, so back in 2013. I started by writing poems; it helped me when I was feeling down about something going on in my life. Then as the years went on I started to progress and take my gift seriously."
3. Who are your musical and style inspirations? Why?
"My musical and style inspirations are G-Eazy, Lil Wayne, Drake, and Vic Mensa. The reason for G-Eazy is that his flow is different. He took all of his idols and mashed all of their styles, and flows to make his own—that's really dope to me. The reason for Lil Wayne is that I truly admire and respect his play on words. When I need to get out of my writers block I listen to his albums on repeat. My reason for Drake is that he is versatile and that’s what i'm working towards—to be just that, a versatile artist. Last but not least, I respect the message Vic Mensa puts in his music, whether it's about police brutality or coming together as a unit to stop the government's crooked ways."
4. What artists would you want to work with in the future?
"I would love to work Jaden Smith, 6lack, XXXTentacion, Madeintyo, Lil Uzi Vert, Smoke Purpp, Russ, Rae Sremmurd, or my girl Zendaya."
5. Do you have a favorite track of yours that you've done? If so, which track and why is it your favorite?
"My favorite track I have done is "Lit Sauce" ft. my rap brother, Donn Sirrah. When I was working on that song I remember being in the my basement studio. I was working on the hook and it goes, "Who got the sauce / My mama’s a boss / There’s nothing we lost / Who got the sauce / Yeah, we the boss / Who got the sauce / Money and friends / They do not cross!” The meaning behind that whole hook is that my team and my whole family has the sauce, and my business life will never come between my brothers and I. When I leaked the song my fans and my bros inside Sound Shinobi went crazy! It was the start of the "new Allante." My people have seen my flow and style progress and that's why "Lit Sauce" will always be my favorite!"
6. Everyone has those moments when they feel like giving up—with that said, what inspires and motivates you to keep going?
"This is easy, my loving fans and my family! My fans are always sending me inspirational messages and my family is always there for me when I need them."
7. What message would you like to send your fans?
"I just want my fans to know...if you have a dream go chase it! Don’t give up and one day you will make your dream a reality."
8. Where do you see yourself a year from now?
"At the rate I'm heading I honestly see myself doing more shows, and meeting more famous artist, and hopefully running for XXL 2018 or 2019!"
9. How would you describe your sound to new fans?
"I would describe my sound as "lit" or the "new wave.” If you like turn up bangers you will love my sound, and if you like lyrical music you will also find my sound appealing as well!"
10. Tell me about a couple of standout moments in your journey thus far?
"Honestly, the most stand out moment in my journey thus far is I’ve been approached by Columbia/Sony Records. I was so happy to hear the great news, and I’m finally starting to see my hard work pay off. Another standout moment was when I was at the Crofoot in January and met EvanTheTwerkGod. I was on stage in front of over 100 people, and it was honestly like the same dream I’ve had to make me want to become a rapper."
