Netflix is bringing another rom-com novel to life and we can’t hardly wait. The film adaptation is based on Jenny Han's best-selling novel To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.
News regarding the film first hit social media last year, which consisted of photos of the cast on set. Luckily, the film is set to be released this summer and some of your favorite actors will be portraying the characters, such as Lana Condor (Lara Jean Covey), Pretty Little Liars' Janel Parrish (Margot Covey) and The Fosters star Noah Centineo (Peter Kavinsky).
The storyline follows a teenage girl named, Lara Jean Covey, who has written a handful of secret letters to all of the boys she has ever loved. Lara Jean keeps the letters hidden in a hatbox until she finds that they’ve disappeared. The story follows LJ’s adventure as she struggles with her relationship with her past lovers, family and getting out of her comfort zone.
Full cast: Lana Candor (Lara Jean Covey), Noah Centineo (Peter Kavinsky), Israel Broussard (Josh Sanderson), Janel Parrish (Margot Covey), Anna Cathcart (Kitty Covey), Madeleine Arthur (Chris), John Corbett (Dr. Dan Covey), and Emilija Baranac (Genevieve).
Make sure to re-read or check the book out if it's your first time ASAP, because the movie is set to hit Netflix on August 17.
